  30.           +o This allows 4Dwm to use deeper overlay visuals for
  31.             rendering 4Dwm rubberbands, rather than limiting it to
  32.             depth 2.

  34.           +o The "Desks License" software patent dispute has been
  35.             resolved. The Desks features are no longer optional and
  36.             are available without license checking for IRIX 5.3
  37.             with this patch.  Bug #265428:  Removes the code that
  38.             checked for the Desks license from 4Dwm and ov (Desks
  39.             Overview).  It also updates the online books that refer
  40.             to the Desks license.

  42.           +o This fixes a 4Dwm bug that caused client windows to
  43.             creep (by the 4Dwm border size) when the windows were
  44.             repeatedly mapped and unmapped by the client.

  46.           +o This fixes a small 4Dwm memory leak and an array bounds
  47.             problem.

  49.           +o This applies an OSF patch for multi-byte .4Dwmrc files.

  91.        Because you want to install only the patches for problems
  92.        you have encountered, patch software is not installed by
  93.        default.  After reading the descriptions of the bugs fixed
  94.        in this patch (see Section 1.3), determine the patches that
  95.        meet your specific needs.

  97.        If, after reading Sections 1.1 and 1.2 of these release
  98.        notes, you are unsure whether your hardware and software
  99.        meet the requirements for installing a particular patch, run
  100.        _i_n_s_t.  The _i_n_s_t program does not allow you to install
  101.        patches that are incompatible with your hardware or
  102.        software.

  104.        Patch software is installed like any other Silicon Graphics
  105.        software product.  Follow the instructions in your _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e
  106.        _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_o_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e to bring up the miniroot
  107.        form of the software installation tools.

  109.        Follow these steps to select a patch for installation:

  111.          1.  At the Inst> prompt, type
